The first Le Mans Classic is definitely a success. No more use to dig in the photo galleries as for a weekend, the 24 Hours story has come back to life. Famous racing drivers such as former Le Mans drivers Bobby Rahal and Brian Redman, have yet crossed the seas to re-live "their" 24 Hours.
The choice of the International Automobile Festival, which selected Le Mans Classic as the "Event of the 2002 year" is supported by the whole press, even by very respected Classic & Sportscars.
Le Mans Classic is listed in 2002 in the "Journées du Patrimoine" (French Heritage Days), a French Culture Department's tribute to Automobile.
