A bit of style for a lot of pleasure

Le Mans Classic is an automobile celebration and everyone has a role to play for the pleasure of all.

Gleaming bodyworks, shining chromes, the classic cars get all dressed up to attend Le Mans Classic. In their honour, let's pay attention to the way we dress for a scene with no wrong notes!

As a tribute to fifty years of history, the 24 Hours circuit will be all dressed up for Le Mans Classic. Modern cars are not authorised into the circuit to preserve this special, out of time, atmosphere. Should it be on the track or in the paddocks, drivers, club members, partners and their guests should also look the part.

The spectators (some 100,000 in 2010), should also come to Le Mans Classic correctly dressed; tribute this time to all the actors, often come from afar to put on this ephemeral show. They greatly appreciate welcoming visitors who have gone to the same trouble as them. If jackets and ties are not compulsory for admittance to the paddocks, they are certainly preferred whereas tracksuits, shorts and bare chests are prohibited. There are many ways of being "sport/chic", as skilfully illustrated by Alain Bouldouyre.
