…all the cars entered in the competition must be one of those –or the same model- having raced in the 24 Hours of Le Mans between 1923 and 1979. However, the range is vast: no less than 612 models of 166 brands are listed.
But beware, any change of engine, brakes or all other makeshift repairs can make a car ineligible. This is why the Le Mans Classic grids remain exceptional for the participants' and public's delight.
The date shown beside the models in the list is that of the participation of the car in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Identical models built during another year are obviously accepted.
