Created in 2002 by Peter Auto, in association with the Automobile Club de l'Ouest, Le Mans Classic offers a fantastic retrospective of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Acclaimed from its very first edition, Le Mans Classic has gone from strength to strength and has become the biggest gathering of classic cars, with nearly 700 racing cars on the track and over 9,000 collector cars. Over four days of festivities, enthusiasts and fans will be able to travel back in time, not only thanks to the races, but also to the shows and entertainment that will punctuate the weekend!
Le Mans Classic is indeed the motoring mecca, and who better to celebrate it than the owners of classic cars? Whether they are members of a club or independent collectors, as with all its events, Peter Auto honours all those who are the passionate memory of the automobile.
This Area is reserved for branded clubs and here, no more borders! Clubs are brought together under the banner of their country, with a French, Italian, English, German, Japanese or even American marque zone... It's a great way of bringing people together, and that's part of the magic of Le Mans Classic! This gathering by brand also allows the public to see and understand the production of each manufacturer.
The passion for motoring is also expressed in the plural, with a space bringing together the multi-brand clubs. This jigsaw puzzle tells the story of the car in its own way. You can even have fun putting it back together to compare cars from the same period, which are very different from one manufacturer to another...
Every owner of a classic or prestige car is invited to the great automobile celebration of Le Mans Classic! This is why the Collection Area was created to welcome all cars that are not affiliated with a club or whose club will not be present at the event. Open to all eligible cars, it takes place within the circuit grounds.
