\nFrom the very first editions of Le Mans Classic, shopkeepers, fairground stalls and food outlets were initially grouped together in the Village, the central area of the circuit. Then, little by little, new villages sprang up, offering restaurants, shopping and other distractions. Spectators - just like the ephemeral museum formed by the 8,500 club cars - were offered some healthy pit stops as they wandered through the circuit, where they came across musicians and other strolling artists. It was almost enough to make you forget for a moment that there were over 800 cars on the circuit, including those on display.\n<\/div>

Gordon Murray, the visionary engineer, will be the exceptional Guest of Honour<\/strong> at this edition. While his creations have left their mark on history \u2014 notably with the victory of the McLaren F1 GTR at the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans \u2014 the circuit will also welcome the legendary MP4\/5B<\/strong>, the car that led Ayrton Senna<\/strong> to his second World Championship title.<\/p>
