C\u00f4t\u00e9 GT, des voitures d\u00e9riv\u00e9es de mod\u00e8les de s\u00e9rie \u2014 comme la Porsche 935 ou la Ferrari 512\u202fBB\u202fLM \u2014 dominent les cat\u00e9gories. Porsche s\u2019impose largement sur cette d\u00e9cennie, avec des mod\u00e8les comme la 936 ou la 908\/3, mais d\u2019autres marques marquent aussi les esprits, comme Lancia ou Rondeau. Le r\u00e8glement du Groupe\u202fC misait sur la consommation plut\u00f4t que la puissance brute, ce qui a pouss\u00e9 les constructeurs \u00e0 innover en a\u00e9rodynamique et en gestion moteur. Porsche a largement domin\u00e9 le d\u00e9but de la d\u00e9cennie avec ses 956 et 962, avant l\u2019arriv\u00e9e de grandes marques comme Jaguar, Sauber-Mercedes, Nissan, Toyota, ou encore Peugeot.<\/div><div>La victoire de Mazda en 1991 reste un moment \u00e0 part, avec le seul moteur rotatif jamais vainqueur au Mans.<\/div><div>Ce plateau rend hommage \u00e0 une p\u00e9riode o\u00f9 la performance s\u2019exprimait sur la dur\u00e9e et o\u00f9 les 1000\u202fkm d\u2019endurance r\u00e9gnaient en ma\u00eetre dans les championnats.<\/div>\n<\/div><div class=\"bde-div-88-537 p\u00e9riode.<\/div><div>C\u2019est une p\u00e9riode de transition, o\u00f9 les GT reviennent au premier plan, parfois aussi rapides que les prototypes. On retrouve ici des voitures embl\u00e9matiques comme la McLaren F1 GTR, la Porsche 911 GT1, la Mercedes CLK-LM ou la Toyota GT-One.
